Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms. Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients’ conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well. Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff Monitors and records vital signs Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output Obtains and records daily weight Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter Job Requirements Required High School Graduate, upon hire or High School GED, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days Preferred Prior Experience, upon hire Where You'll Work St. Joseph Health Burleson Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Caldwell, Texas offering a Level IV Trauma Center, IP and OP services, therapy, emergency care, skilled nursing care, injury treatment and more.
