Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,253 a week in all, a taxable rate of $25 an hour plus $1,353.27 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Specialist in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced critical care to patients with severe and complex conditions, including sepsis, congestive heart failure, and COPD. The position requires experienced nursing professionals capable of managing ventilated patients and working in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Job Details

• Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and with certification from the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Education and experience requirements: Valid nursing licensure, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant ICU experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Units: ICU and Critical Care Unit (CCU), with potential to float between units including telehealth and emergency room settings if willing and trained.
• Responsibilities include managing patients with conditions such as sepsis, CHF, COPD, post-cardiac procedures, lobectomies, and thrombectomies, including those who are vented.
• Orientation: 2-3 shifts on the unit, with additional tele or ER orientation as needed.
• Charting System: Cerner.
• Must have a valid license for submission to the facility.
• Start date: 11/02/2026; end date: 02/01/2027.
