Position Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, including conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by accurately interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Partner with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing surgical environments and handing necessary instruments
• Oversee exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, patient education, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
