Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and DeliveryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to care for patients during one of the most important experiences in their lives.Shift DetailsLength: 13 weeksType: Night shift (3 shifts of 12 hours each)Hours per week: 36 hoursEvery other holiday and every other weekend requiredResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, ensuring a safe delivery environment.Cross-train to Mother/Baby care and potentially float to NICU for feeders and growers.Collaborate with a team that includes certified nurse midwives and maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk cases.Utilize private labor rooms and triage beds to enhance patient comfort and care quality.RequirementsValid BLS and NRP certification.Fetal monitoring skills are essential.AWHONN Intermediate certification is required.Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and environments.Facility InformationAverage annual deliveries: 2,000Labor rooms: 8 private roomsTriage beds: 4 private bedsOB operating rooms: 2If you are passionate about providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment and are looking to make a difference in the lives of new families, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Client Details State VA
