Job Summary




- Analyze business objectives, problems, and user requirements to identify data integration and automation solutions.
- Conduct studies, cost/benefit analysis, and evaluate alternative solutions for improving or automating processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational procedures, data input/output requirements, and reporting formats.
- Prepare detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and steps for developing or modifying computer programs.
- Assess computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes.
- Design, develop, and support enterprise-level ETL/data integration solutions, primarily using Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
- Ingest data from diverse sources (flat files, APIs, databases, mainframes) into Oracle and Snowflake environments.
- Create and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, sessions, and reusable transformations.
- Optimize data integration processes for performance and resolve data quality issues, job failures, and bottlenecks.
- Gather and document data requirements, perform source-to-target mapping, and define data flow/design specifications.
- Manage batch job scheduling/orchestration using tools like Control-M, Autosys, or Informatica Scheduler.
- Provide production support for ETL pipelines and ensure data quality management.
- Work within structured SDLC and change management processes; collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
- Preferred: Experience with SAP Business Objects Universe and/or working in government or large enterprise environments.
