Paid Social Media Buyer

Position Description

Leading international media buying company is hiring a Paid Social Buyer to buy and manage client media investments across major social platforms including Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat and others. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in media buying, reporting, and analytics, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is detail oriented. This is an executional role within the Ad Platforms team, reporting to the Paid Social Manager.

Responsibilities

- Build and manage full funnel campaigns across the various social platforms.

- Optimize campaigns against performance goals and KPIs

- Analyze campaign data to assist in developing strategy to scale spend while improving performance

- Partner cross-functionally with strategy, planning, measurement, and Ad Ops) to align on campaign goals and unique account needs

- Join client meetings to represent company's social capabilities and value

- Monitor key metrics and adjust strategy in real time as needed

- Compile and analyze performance data, identify trends, and proactively bring recommendations to both clients and internal teams

- Stay ahead of the latest platform updates, trends, and best practices in social media

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required

- 2-4 years of experience in paid social media, agency or client-side

- Highly organized with strong project management skills;
able to manage multipleprojects and reprioritize as needs shift

- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging both internally and with external clients

- Ability to analyze social media metrics and recommend optimizations that drive performance

- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, optimization levers, and ad products

- Analytical mindset with a focus on media performance and results

- Experience compiling client-facing deliverables

- Intermediate Excel and AI tool proficiency
