Starting Date: Immediately Job Description The Quabbin Regional School District is seeking a qualified and certified elementary teacher (grades 1‑6). The successful candidate will possess the appropriate Massachusetts Educator License and will be responsible for all aspects of the class, including lesson planning, data collection, and classroom management. Responsibilities: Create a welcoming, supportive, and equitable learning environment with a focus on building strong relationships. Plan and implement differentiated lessons and ongoing formative assessment based on district objectives and the abilities, needs, and interests of students. Apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional design with a demonstrated commitment to remain current in content knowledge and instructional pedagogy. Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, families, and colleagues. Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, colleagues, and families. Job Requirements Massachusetts Elementary Education Certification required. Special Education DESE certification desired. Deep knowledge of instructional strategies to address the needs of all students. Knowledge of DESE Curriculum Standards and ability to implement instruction aligned to the standards. Ability to analyze student work and assessments to determine instructional areas of focus. Strong collaborative approach in working with colleagues. Ability to reflect upon practice and results with a focus on continuous learning and improvement. At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Master's degree preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
