Responsibilities
- Provide bedside respiratory care for acutely ill patients, including ventilator management and adjustments as ordered
- Administer inhaled therapies, bronchodilators, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway clearance techniques
- Monitor patient responses, adjust therapies as needed, and document outcomes in the patient chart
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation; communicate results to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the respiratory care team to ensure safe, effective treatment and patient safety
- Ensure proper equipment setup, calibration, and routine safety checks; follow unit-specific policies
- Flex to other units as required by patient needs and qualifications; participate in shift to ensure continuity of care

Requirements
- Current Michigan license as Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligibility
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (AHA)
- 2+ years of RRT experience
- Travel experience preferred
- Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shifts; ability to float to areas you are qualified for
