A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician supporting an outpatient pharmacy setting. This role focuses on assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing exceptional customer service from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient medication records, including profiles and histories.
• Prepare medications in prescribed dosage forms such as pills and ointments.
• Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals regarding prescription orders and medication inquiries.
• Process medication orders adhering to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Perform administrative duties including billing, processing insurance claims, and managing patient files.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and efficient.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician experience is required; retail experience is acceptable.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license.
