By directing the duties of nursing assistants and performing day to day nursing duties, youll ensure our residents are fully cared for. Were excited for you to come and join our accomplished staff of medical professionals!/ph3Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliDirect the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations guidelines that govern the long-term care facility. Meet with your assigned nursing assistants to give a Nursing Report on assigned residents and review 24-hour summary reports in the electronic medical record on assigned residents./liliPerform administrative duties, such as completing medical forms, evaluations, observations, events appropriate documentation for all assigned residents./liliEnsure all medications treatments have been signed off prior to the end of the assigned shift and update the Nursing Supervisor on resident changes in condition./liliReceive telephone orders from physicians, transcribe orders record in the electronic health record, and prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider./liliInform nursing staff of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc. and ensure that rooms are ready for new admissions, greet residents upon admission, and escort them to their rooms as necessary./liliMake rounds with providers as necessary and make periodic checks to ensure resident care is being completed by CNA/GNA evaluate resident status./liliEnsure that your nurses notes reflect that the care plan is being followed when administering nursing care or treatment and review care plans for appropriate resident goals, problems, approaches, revisions based on nursing needs. Update care plans as appropriate./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliMust possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state or compact state./liliMust possess a current CPR license./liliPrevious long-term care experience is desirable./li/ul/div
