Cherry Picker and Reach Truck Operator

Are you an experience forklift operator with at least 2 years of experience in operating Cherry Pickers AND Reach Trucks? salary: $17 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

In this role, you will help a distribution center in Jefferson, GA to load and unload trucks, organize stock, and move finished product around as needed to keep their operation running and fill customer orders. You will work with PIT equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts to move heavy product, and you will use RF scanners to track items coming into and leaving the facility. Safety and efficiency will be crucial in this position.

You will be working in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. 

This is generally a Monday-Friday position, but they are currently in their busy season and 5-10 hours of OT is currently required.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 30lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends

Skills

• Reach Truck Operation (2 years of experience is required)
• Cherry Picking (2 years of experience is required)
• Sit Down Forklifts (1 year of experience is preferred)
