Description
Summary:
To manufacture, visually inspect and package pipe in accordance with J-M Eagle packing specifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Unitize pipe online
- Perform all measurements on daily inspection sheet and report any problems to crew leader
- Fill out production tickets and load tags
- Operate a forklift to take units out
- Install rings properly
- Identify visual defects in pipe
- Record machine conditions and report any abnormality to crew leader
- Clean cooling tank, water filters
- Run Q.C. sample as required
- Assist online start up
- Check and add oil to the corrugated oil system
- Do daily clean up and take care of assigned areas
- Perform other miscellaneous jobs as directed
Authority/Decision Making:
Works under JM Eagle policy and procedures on a day-to-day basis. Very limited follow directions for General Foreman
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
