Business Litigation Attorney

Diamond Bar, CA | Hybrid Schedule | $185,000-$250,000 Base Salary + Productivity Bonus

A well-established Southern California law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience who is interested in handling sophisticated commercial disputes, working directly with clients, and earning substantial additional compensation through a performance-based bonus structure.

The firm has developed a strong reputation representing businesses in complex commercial litigation matters, including international business disputes, contract claims, shareholder litigation, intellectual property disputes, and commercial collections.
Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Conduct depositions and court appearances
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and developments
• Collaborate with support staff and attorneys on complex matters

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $185,000-$250,000 DOE
• Productivity Bonus: 30% of collected revenue above the annual 1,800-hour threshold

Bonus Potential

Attorneys who exceed the annual billable-hour threshold have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings.

Example at a $450 hourly billing rate:

• 100 hours above 1,800 hours = approximately $13,500 bonus
• 200 hours above 1,800 hours = approximately $27,000 bonus

Bonus eligibility is based on collected revenue from qualified billable work.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license
• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred
• State and/or federal court experience
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters
• Mandarin language skills are a plus, but not required
• Interest in long-term growth with a stable and established firm
