Our intelligent software and methodologies increase the relevance and personalization of ads through sophisticated algorithms that find valuable characteristics, gauge consumer behaviors, and target ads with laser focus to the right audiencesJob DescriptionRadiumOne is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our Data Technology team with the responsibility of designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure, as well as implementing data transformations developed by data scientists as scalable and robust processes. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Duties:• Develop conceptual, logical and physical design of data repositories for various types of data access• Design and develop scalable, robust implementations of algorithms provided by data analysts and data scientists• Lead a small team of Data Engineers (mentor team members, oversee their design and implementation work)• Ensure quality and timely delivery of projects• Work closely with Product Management, Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure that implemented solutions are built as desiredQualifications• Leadership experience• Knowledge and expertise of No SQL and Big Data technologies• Strong knowledge of Linux• Demonstrated programming skills in one or more of: Bash/Shell, Python, Perl, and automation• Working knowledge of databases, including abilities to write / tune SQL queries• Experience of working with large data volumes (processing of more than 1 GB of data per day)• Experience in analytical insightsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information System Management or related field5 years of experience in data processing field.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
