Nursing Supervisor We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our team at ALIYA of Oak Lawn, a premier long-term care facility in Oak Lawn, Illinois. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the care of our residents on assigned units, ensuring high-quality care and service. Shifts - Am, Pm & NOC Duties and Responsibilities Assume responsibility and accountability for resident care on assigned unit Ensure complete and prompt reporting of incidents to Administrator and Director of Nursing Actively participate in committee/programs as directed by Director of Nursing Oversee resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning possible Perform nursing assessments regarding the health/status of residents Make daily rounds on unit to ensure resident care needs and environmental standards are met Review clinical records for completeness and accuracy as necessary Monitor, track, evaluate, and report infections Act as a resource for nursing staff Identify and provide orientation and continuing education for unit staff members Attend and actively participate in nursing supervisory meetings Lead a care team to ensure high-quality care and service Qualifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing plus 5-7 years of experience as a long-term care nurse, with a minimum of two years supervisory experience in acute, sub-acute, or long-term care Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois Proficient in the use of computer and programs utilized by the facility Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing Respect the principles of Resident Rights, confidentiality, EEO, and ADA Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Short-Term Disability Insurance Accident Insurance Hospital Indemnity Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan On-Demand Pay Option Paid Time Off (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement Program If you are a motivated and compassionate nurse with excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
