Location: Henderson, NV
Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Thursday / 6:00am - 4:30pm)
Pay Range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

About the Role

We're placing a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist II with a precision manufacturing client in Henderson, NV. This is a hands-on machining role focused on setup and operation of 2-axis CNC lathe machines to fabricate plastic and non-metallic parts to tight specifications.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate 2-axis CNC lathe machines for repeat jobs using process sheets
• Edit, send, and retrieve CNC programs; perform non-CNC hand-work operations as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and manufacturing sketches
• Inspect your own work prior to Quality Assurance first article inspection
• Track and update estimated vs. actual cycle times
• Process work orders and MRP documents accurately
• Communicate production issues and improvement ideas to leads and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all shop safety protocols

What You Bring

• 3+ years of CNC lathe machining experience
• Ability to read, format, and edit CNC programs
• Proficiency with inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators
• Blueprint reading and technical document interpretation
• Strong shop math and measurement conversion skills
• Experience with MRP/job tracking software (e.g., JobBoss or similar)
• NTMA certificate or technical school credential is a plus
• Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and communication skills
