Cook Needed - Per Diem Need - Variable Shifts - Shift Differential Pay!

Serves as team lead and assists with preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes, and other food items. Does this position require patient care? No.

Qualifications

Essential functions include receiving food ingredients and supplies, reviewing production schedules, preparing and displaying a variety of foods, completing production sheets, maintaining clean work areas, catering special events, attending to equipment and food supply problems, preparing special diets, and recording inventory.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Experience: Working as a cook for 5-7 years required. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include gathering data, compiling information, preparing reports, safely using cleaning equipment, preparing pastries, rolls, and baked goods, cooking and preparing a variety of foods, knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, organizing and coordinating skills, and knowledge of supplies, equipment, and services ordering and inventory control.
