Facility Maintenance

Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Associate to join their team. You will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational needs of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Associate

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $21-$23

Shift: (1st Shift-flex start time between 5a-8a) 8 hours Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, minor repairs, and cleanup.
• Operate maintenance equipment including cardboard compactors, power tools, and hand tools.
• Load and unload materials; move, assemble, and repair office furniture.
• Conduct janitorial work, including carpet extraction, window cleaning, and general building sanitation.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical work, as permitted.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of standard practices, equipment, and tools used in facility maintenance.
• Skills in operating basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.
