Record your patients health status and report it to the nurse. Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices. A few must-haves for Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants: High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Arizona CPR Certification (demonstration course required) Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card.
