Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Title

Summary:

Pay Rate: 60 - 80/hr

Location: Iselin, NJ

Work Mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Provide solutions for IT and business management concerning the application of technology to business opportunities, planning, and implementation of cross-functional applications.
• Monitor feedback on the use of business applications, enhancing system productivity as needed.
• Translate business requirements into application requirements, while working with all team members to execute the application successfully.
• Review cost estimates of various system solutions and review project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
• Engage company teams and explain complex security initiatives in an understandable manner, while also addressing any hesitations or concerns from the company.
• Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshoot problems as necessary.
• Coach and sometimes delegate work to lower-level professionals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience working with Asset Management firms.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on investment performance calculation & reporting projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with projects related to IBOR systems for Asset Management firms supporting all major asset classes.
• Ability to query and analyze data using SQL tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university in IT/Computer Science.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Leveraged Loans asset class preferred.
• Knowledge of FactSet and Eagle Performance preferred.
• Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence preferred.
• CFA or CIPM certifications are a plus.
