What You Will Do – Essential Responsibilities Complete administrative tasks to support all store departments Provide customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through paperwork Communicate effectively with customers and business partners Maintain coverage at information desk and answer multi-line phone system Learn and Succeed as Part of a Team This is a high‑energy office environment where you will work as a team to handle a wide range of customer interactions and make sure everything goes smoothly. Opening and closing the business office, completing financial transactions, and processing paperwork will require a high level of attention to detail. Qualifications And Requirements Customer service experience Thrive in a fast‑paced office environment Good listening skills and a strong customer focus Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets The Hourly Rate for This Position Is $17.66 – $36.90 Benefits Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time. For full‑time hourly or commission/incentive eligible associates: up to 48 hours of sick time per year, accrual on a per‑pay‑period basis; between 80 and 200 hours of vacation per year after a 90‑day waiting period, dependent on years of continuous service. Plus 8 hours of pay for each of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday, and Holiday Premium Pay if they work on a scheduled holiday due to business need. For full‑time salaried associates: paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc., subject to manager approval.
