Amazon Connect Support Engineer

Salary: $47,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 4+ years of overall IT experience, with strong exposure to CCaaS environments.
• We need solid experience in contact center observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production systems.
• We require 2+ years of hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and CloudWatch.
• We expect practical AWS cloud experience, including Lambda, Amazon Connect, and Application Load Balancers (ALBs).
• We need experience in at least one scripting language such as Python or JavaScript to support automation and operational efficiency.
• We value excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
• Experience with NICE CXone and/or Genesys Cloud or Genesys Engage contact center platforms is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix is a plus.

• We design, develop, and improve proactive monitoring capabilities for the AWS Connect CCaaS platform to support reliability and operational excellence.
• We work closely with developers, architects, and platform owners to establish logging standards and monitoring best practices that improve troubleshooting and observability.
• We take part in application design sessions and build end-to-end interaction flows in Splunk to strengthen monitoring and diagnostics.
• We troubleshoot production incidents, carry out root cause analysis, and apply corrective measures to reduce downtime and service interruptions.
• We partner with vendor teams to drive operational enhancements and refine monitoring frameworks across the platform.
• We create and maintain CloudWatch dashboards as a complementary monitoring solution to add redundancy and visibility.
