Supply Chain SME and Humanitarian Response Logistics LeadThe Opportunity:We are seeking a Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert to support an FDA initiative to improve supply chain resilience for medical devices. Specifically, this role will serve to support strategic efforts to improve supply chain visibility and oversee risk management of health commodities marketed and sold in the US. In particular, this position will emphasize humanitarian logistics and experience with infectious disease commodity management. The successful candidate will provide specialist expertise in supply chain, logistics, and operational preparedness for public health and humanitarian response programs.You will help design and optimize resilient, agile supply chain solutions that inform government and industry stakeholders as well as provide improved visibility into supply chains for critical medical devices and other emergent healthcare settings. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to strengthen resource mobilization, build and improve risk management principles across the Program to not only identify potential supply chain disruptions but also help assess potential programmatic impact in areas such as: inventory availability, production, downstream logistics, upstream supply availability, and demand planning.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, humanitarian operations, or public health field, including health supply chain managementExperience designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end health supply chain solutions in complex or emergency environmentsExperience supporting infectious disease or outbreak response teams, including logistics planning, resource mobilization, operational coordination, and emergency preparednessExperience contributing to supply chain risk management, operational readiness, risk assessment, or risk identification activities within health, humanitarian, or emergency-response settingsExperience coordinating health supply chain activities across cross-functional, international, governmental, non-governmental, or multi-agency teamsExperience using data, analytics, and technology platforms to improve supply chain visibility, tracking, forecasting, and performance in health or humanitarian contextsKnowledge of inventory management, procurement, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and last-mile delivery, preferably for medicines, medical commodities, personal protective equipment, laboratory supplies, or health-related productsKnowledge of compliance, safety, regulatory, quality, and infection prevention requirements relevant to infectious disease and health logisticsAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsBachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Public Health, or Emergency Management fieldNice If You Have:Experience supporting Ebola response operations, including outbreak logistics, infection prevention requirements, personal protective equipment, medical commodities, or high-risk deployment environmentsExperience working with regulatory agencies for medical devicesExperience working with national governments, humanitarian organizations, public health agencies, or international response mechanismsExperience with infectious disease preparedness, outbreak protocols, and supply chain challenges in resource-constrained settingsExperience with warehouse or logistics management information systems, emergency operations platforms, or cloud-based supply chain toolsExperience supporting data governance, quality assurance, asset cataloging, metadata management, traceability, and reportingAbility to explain complex supply chain issues to non-technical audiencesPossession of strong communication and stakeholder-management skillsVetting:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
