Endocrinologist Needed Near Dekalb, IL (1 hour West Chicago)
Location: Dekalb, Illinois (One hour from Chicago)
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join an established Endocrine and Diabetes team in Dekalb, Illinois . The selected candidate will provide dedicated support to an existing Medical Group while enjoying a busy community-based outpatient practice with consult-only hospital coverage.

- Team Collaboration: Work alongside three endocrinologists and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) .
- On-Site Support: Certified diabetic educators, clinical dieticians, and clinical pharmacists available on-site.

- Specialized Programs: Access to ADA-recognized diabetes education program with RN and RD educators at the Diabetes Self-Management Clinic .
- Extended Support: Collaborate with on-site endocrine surgery and oncologic subspecialists from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health .
- Academic Opportunities: Academic appointment and teaching opportunities available through the University of Illinois College of Medicine .
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, evaluate, and treat patients with hormonal imbalances , thyroid conditions , osteoporosis , diabetes , and other endocrine disorders .
- Provide outpatient care with consult-only hospital coverage.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care .
- Offer patient counseling on the management of endocrine disorders .
- Participate in educational programs and professional development.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
- Completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship .
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology .
- Illinois Medical License (active or pending).
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
