Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend, floating required to all units and sister facility

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care as part of the float pool across all Med-Surg units
• Administer medications and treatments using Omnicell and Alaris systems
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the healthcare team
• Document accurately in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure quality outcomes
• Float to sister facility as needed to support staffing

Qualifications

• Active LVN/LPN license in California
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS certification from AHA
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Willingness to float to various units and facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Cerner EMR
• Experience with Omnicell medication dispensing system
• Skilled in using Alaris IV pumps
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit protocols
• Team player with a flexible attitude
