North Distribution Center Warehouse Worker Job Summary Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager I, the Warehouse Worker performs work in the receipt, storage, inventory and issue of lottery tickets and related materials. Responsibilities Receipt, storage, inventory, and issue of lottery tickets and related materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory counts. Follow safety protocols for lifting and handling materials up to 50 lbs. Work in a warehouse environment, tolerating heat, cold, dust, and other debris. Minimum Requirements Minimum requirements are listed in the Class Specification. Valid Class III California driver’s license required for operation of any two-axle single-motor vehicle. Desirable Qualifications At least one year of experience assisting in receipt, storage, or issue of materials from a centralized stockroom or warehouse. Knowledge of safety protocols for lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with normal conditions (heat, cold, dust, debris). Knowledge of inventory methods and maintaining inventory records. Bilingual skills desirable. Working Conditions Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Travel: limited, less than one week per year. Work must be performed in office; not eligible for telework. Benefits Benefit information and additional details are available on the CalHR and CalPERS websites.
