• *Job Description:**
• *Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Blades Senior Aircraft Technician to join our Blades Repair team based in Grand Prairie, TX.**
• *Your duties will consist of performing various functions on rotor blades - to include receiving, moving, inspection, tear down (disassembly, sanding, scraping, etc), repair (bodywork, composite layup, painting) balancing and return to service in accordance with Airbus Helicopters, Inc. documentation and procedures Team member will be expected to ensure a quality product.**

• *Primary Responsibilities: **
• *Technical: Tear Down, Clean, Inspect, Repair, Assemble and Closeout Components: 80%**
• **Receive, move, clean, inspect, repair, assemble rotor blades.**
• **Maintain a close working relationship with assigned lead regarding schedules, priorities, and availability of parts, supplies and tools.**
• **Develop a clear understanding of methods and procedures on rotor blade repairs.**
• **Able to effectively utilize all hand tools needed to execute inspection and repairs.**
• **Develop skills on cleaning, sanding, body work/filling, painting on rotor blades and related components**
• **Develop skills to enable assembly of finished products.**
• **Complete required documentation for rotor blade inspection and repairs.**
• **Ensures work complies with customer specifications, FAA regulations, manufacturer’s applicable maintenance manuals, blueprints, RDAS, etc.**

• **Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. • **Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/23kgs. Daily**

• **Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Daily**

• **Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.**
