We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job DescriptionJob DetailsStarting Pay: $18 per hour, plus $1 per hour shift differentialShift: 2nd shift 5:00pm - 3:30am Monday - Friday (Saturdays based on business need)Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial units to move, load, and store materials throughout the facility. This role supports production, shipping, and receiving by ensuring materials are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with safety requirements.Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment in a safe and responsible mannerLoad and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage locationsTransport raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to designated areasVerify materials against paperwork, labels, or system recordsStage materials for production, shipping, or storagePerform basic equipment inspections and report mechanical issuesFollow all safety rules, traffic patterns, and OSHA requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with inventory counts and material audits as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredMust have a valid drivers licenseValid forklift certification or ability to obtain certificationPrevious forklift or warehouse experience preferredAbility to read work instructions, labels, and shipping documentsStrong attention to safety and accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environmentPhysical and Work Environment RequirementsRegular standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Use of PPE as required (safety glasses, gloves, sleeves, steel/composite toe shoes).Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
