Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced, New York State Certified Home Health Aides for a current opportunity in Saint James, NY, as well as additional per diem opportunities throughout Suffolk County.

Drivers are encouraged to apply, but a vehicle is not required.

Saint James Case

7 Days a Week

Day Shift: 12:00 PM8:00 PM Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM6:00 AM

We are looking for dependable HHAs who are available for daytime, overnight, or both shifts. This is a great opportunity for caregivers looking to add hours to their existing schedule.

HHA Responsibilities

As an HHA, you will provide compassionate one-on-one care while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and assistance with daily living
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship
• Mobility assistance
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition

Requirements

ACTIVE NEW YORK STATE HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA) CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

Qualified candidates should have:

• At least 1 year of HHA experience
• Current physical examination
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON documentation, or applicable chest X-ray
• MMR documentation
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Reliable attendance and professional communication
• Compassionate and dependable approach to client care

Reliable transportation is a plus, but a vehicle is not required.
