Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Educating patients and their families about wellness, prevention, and management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
