Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Pediatric

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and pediatric units, including overflow coverage in ICU and ED settings. Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence across diverse care environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in status promptly.
• Document patient interactions and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Float between medical-surgical and pediatric units, providing flexible and comprehensive care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Extensive EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical settings.
• Experienced in managing ICU and ED overflow cases.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Availability to work 72 hours every two weeks, including night shifts.
