About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Philanthropic Giving for the Central region. A key aspect of the role is to manage a personal portfolio of select prospects and donors, ensuring the success of the philanthropic team and playing a significant role in the comprehensive fundraising campaign for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 15 years of successful fundraising experience in a non-profit environment, with a proven track record in managing teams and meeting revenue goals. The role requires a deep appreciation for the Olympic and Paralympic movements, strong interpersonal abilities, and superior communication skills. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, independent, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented fundraising environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and the candidate should be achievement-oriented, confident, and innovative. Experience in a sophisticated development organization and a thorough understanding of prospect development and donor engagement mechanisms are also essential.
