Elementary Math Teacher Grade 4-6

The Anchored School is seeking a passionate and innovative Grades 4–6 Math Teacher who can make mathematics exciting, engaging, and meaningful through Project-Based Learning. We are looking for an educator who believes that students learn best by doing—using games, hands‑on activities, real‑world problem solving, STEM challenges, and collaborative projects to build a strong foundation in mathematics. Design engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and problem‑solving. Incorporate math games, manipulatives, technology, and interactive activities into daily instruction. Connect mathematical concepts to real‑world applications and cross‑curricular projects. Differentiates instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Fosters a positive classroom environment where students feel confident taking risks and solving challenging problems. Assesses student progress and provides meaningful feedback to support growth. Collaborates with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Texas teaching certification preferred). Experience teaching upper elementary or middle school math (Grades 4–6 preferred). Passion for Project-Based Learning and student‑centered instruction. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Creative, energetic, and committed to helping every student develop confidence in math.
