RN - Outpatient Clinic

AM Shift: 5 × 7.5-hour shifts per week, totaling 38 hours per week. The shift is from 9 AM to 5 PM with no float, weekends, or holiday requirements. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care within the Internal Medicine department, focusing primarily on breast cancer and primary care patients. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient needs, reviewing lab results, and obtaining medication authorizations over the phone. Responsibilities Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8. Perform clinical assessments and deliver direct patient care. Communicate effectively with patients regarding lab results and medication authorizations. Ensure compliance with best nursing practices and standards. Handle an average of 15 cases seen per day. Required Experience Must have 2-3 years of nursing experience. Previous travel nursing experience is required. Competence in all basic nursing skills is essential.
