Job Details Position Type: Locum Tenens Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Healthcare Setting: Acute Care, Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Facility: 30-bed hospital with a 17-bed emergency department Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00PM – 7:00AM) Hours per Week: 36 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend EMR System: Cerner Scrub Color: Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1800-$1840 Qualifications Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state preferred) Minimum 1 year of ICU, Step Down, or Progressive Care nursing experience At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Strong teamwork and communication skills Outgoing personality preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to acute and progressive care patients Manage patient ratios: Med/Surg 6:1 (occasionally 7:1), ICU/Step Down 4:1 Assist with procedures including thoracentesis, ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and dressing changes Float to Emergency Department as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care using Cerner EMR Benefits 401K with Matching Healthcare, Dental and Vision About GHR With over 30 years of healthcare staffing experience, GHR Healthcare is your trusted partner in finding the perfect contract or permanent role in the healthcare industry.
