Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator OOJ - 35140

Overview As an Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you would be responsible for directing and coordinating all functions within the ER unit on your designated shifts, collaborating with the management team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care, and supporting staff development and performance. Responsibilities You will assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. You will create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. You will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care, as indicated by the patient’s responses and conditions. You will delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and safe but retain accountability for patient care. You will provide individualized education for the patient, family, and or caregiver throughout the continuum of care. You will adhere to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care. Qualifications RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state. Associate\'s degree; Bachelor’s degree is preferred Current BLS from the American Heart Association ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment CPI within 6 months of employment A minimum of 3 years of experience as Registered Nurse (will consider Psych and ICU experience) A minimum of 1 year minimum as an Emergency Room Nurse Trauma experience preferred Prior Charge Nurse experience preferred Benefits Great benefits.
