- Over 4,000 Full-Time Associates across the Supply Chain
- 14.5M square feet of small parcel, personalization, furniture, and manufacturing space in the domestic US, Williams-Sonoma has developed an agile and capable distribution network consisting of the following:
- Large package / furniture distribution centers located in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey totaling 9.2M square feet plus another 1.2M square feet of standalone final-mile furniture hubs.
- Small package eCommerce distribution centers located in Mississippi and Arizona totaling 3.2M square feet, consisting of over 1,000 full-time associates and 1,500 seasonal/temporary associates in Mississippi
- Sutter Street Manufacturing upholstery factories located in North Carolina and Mississippi totaling with over 1,400 full-time employees producing approximately $900 million to $1 billion in sales of upholstered furniture
- Transportation Department for Ocean, Air, Trucking, and Rail consisting of over 30 transportation professionals located in Memphis, TN
- 700 associates in our Sourcing offices in 10 countries in Asia and Europe including China, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Italy, and Turkey

- Run and scrub various reports to keep consistent inventory flow for the day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with other departments and facilities via email or phone communication
- Train, direct, and lead a team of associates to achieve operational goals
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment by communicating safety topics, conducting audits, and promoting awareness in all tasks
- Track productivity, coordinate team assignments and prioritize/control the workflow through floor presence to ensure that deadlines are met
- Assist in leading daily start-up meetings, help communicate daily/weekly/goals, and share successes, opportunities for improvement and best practices with the team
- Share business information with teammates through floor presence, suggest improvements to current techniques
- Research and resolve issues, provide feedback on productivity and quality related performance to teammates, peers, and manager by using departmental resources
- Assist Manager with planning and implementation or departmental standards and goals
- Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment
- Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in distribution, manufacturing, or retail environments. In lieu of distribution, manufacturing or retail environment experience, 5 years of progressive work experience
- At least 1 year previous forklift driving experience
- At least 2 years' experience with warehouse management systems
- This is an onsite and in office role
- Excellent PKMS (or equivalent WMS) knowledge including handheld, truck mount and desktop
- Advanced MS Office Proficiency: Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision making, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, be a team player, and possess research skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
- Flexible to work overtime as required
- Bachelor's Degree or certification in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience in distribution or manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years' experience of a working knowledge of MS Access
- Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders
- Able to lift up to 75lbs
- Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day
