Digital Designer

* Position is preferably on-site in Austin, TX *

Bakery Austin is searching for fast, versatile Digital Designers to join our production team. Digital Designers keep our brands moving. You'll take established brand systems and turn them into digital and social assets, ads, and campaign extensions. You'll work closely with our Graphic Designers and Art Directors, taking their systems and templates and running with them at speed, using the best available tools and AI platforms to keep pace of output without losing consistency.

*This role is on-site 3-4 days a week in Austin, TX. We can only consider applicants currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce digital and social assets, ad variations, and campaign extensions within established brand systems.
• Adapt existing templates and design systems across formats, sizes, and platforms quickly and accurately.
• Use AI tools and platforms to generate, resize, and iterate assets at scale.
• Maintain brand consistency across a large volume of deliverables and channels.
• Turn around internal and client feedback fast, often same day.
• Work with Graphic Designers and Art Directors to understand brand systems before executing against them.
• Stay current on new design and AI tools and bring efficiencies to the team.

Requirements

• A portfolio showing range, speed, and comfort working within existing brand guidelines.
• 2+ years as a Digital Designer, Production Artist, or similar role within a design studio, creative agency, or in-house team.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluency with AI design and generation tools (Midjourney, Photoshop AI tools, Figma AI, or similar) and interest in keeping up with new platforms as they come out.
• Ability to work within a defined visual system without needing to reinvent it.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of deliverables and tight turnarounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail under time pressure.
• Ability to take direction well and execute efficiently against a brief.
• Team player who's happy supporting the bigger creative vision rather than authoring it.

Highly Desired:

• Experience with social and digital ad platforms and specs (Meta, TikTok, programmatic, etc.)
• Experience batch producing localized or multi market versions of campaigns
