Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery will provide high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This role involves couplet care and the management of patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring both maternal and neonatal health.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in labor and during delivery.


• Monitor patient vital signs and fetal heart rates.


• Assist in electronic health record (EHR) documentation.


• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.


• Educate patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.


• Current NRP, BLS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications (intermediate required; advanced preferred).


• Experience with couplet care and LDRP analysis.


• Some NICU experience is preferred.
