Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Tucson, Arizona
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Position Description: The registered nurse holds shift accountability for delivering patient care in the Emergency Room, demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient safety and care delivery. The role requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities appropriately, and providing supervision of assigned personnel.
• Schedule: Days shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Professional nursing license; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; experience working with Cerner electronic medical records; ability to float as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience (additional $3/hr. may apply); trauma Level III certification; stroke and STEMI receiving capabilities; NIHSS certification is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float between departments, and the position is a replacement for permanent staff. The facility has 38 beds.
