Construction Controller - Houston

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a Construction Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our construction projects in Houston. The Construction Controller will be responsible for managing budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred - Proven experience as a Controller in the construction industry - Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and job costing - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel - Excellent analytical and communication skills Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain project budgets in collaboration with project managers - Monitor project financial performance and provide financial analysis - Prepare and review financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets - Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws - Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable - Supervise accounting staff and provide training and guidance when necessary - Participate in strategic financial planning to support company growth Location: Houston, TX Join our team as a Construction Controller and contribute to the success of our construction projects in Houston.
