Job Description
The Plumbing Dispatcher coordinates a high volume of incoming service calls, dispatches plumbing technicians efficiently, keeps customers informed, and maintains accurate service documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of incoming plumbing & heating service calls.
- Coordinate service requests and dispatch technicians based on service needs and availability.
- Provide customers with timely service updates.
- Communicate clearly with plumbing teams throughout each service call.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Assist with basic office tasks given throughout the day.
Schedule & Office Hours
- Shift: Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Full-Time)
- Arrival: Must be on-site by 7:30 AM to prepare and review the day's schedule before standard office hours begin.
- Overtime: Optional Saturday overtime shifts may be available based on seasonal demand and call volume.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2+ years of customer service, office administration, or dispatch experience (experience in plumbing, HVAC, or trade services is a strong plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, strong problem-solving abilities under pressure, and a calm, customer-first demeanor.
