Welder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this position, you will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately weld structural components and parts. This is an integral part of the construction process, as it provides a strong infrastructure foundation. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a Welder. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics Plan layout and measurements of structural components Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment Qualifications Previous experience as a Welder Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) is preferred Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings Understanding of all health and safety guidelines Attention to detail Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team Ability to safely operate a forklift Ability to be on feet all day Ability to lift and carry at least 75 lbs Benefits/Perks Competitive Pay Career Advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr Stony Brook Structures of Florida
