Accounting Assistant

Our client, a well-established company is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to start right away! Office Location: White Plains, NY Pay: 21-23/hr Responsibilities Provide administrative and data entry support to the Pension Team. Assist with preparing benefit estimates by entering and verifying information in Excel and internal systems. Review employee and pension data for accuracy and completeness. Update and maintain pension records using Excel spreadsheets and company databases. Input, organize, and track financial and participant information. Assist with reviewing pension-related documents and supporting calculations. Perform data validation to identify and correct discrepancies. Maintain organized electronic files and documentation. Support the team with reporting, spreadsheets, and other administrative projects as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of pension-related tasks. Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Comfortable working with large amounts of data and repetitive tasks. Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
