Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianPro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician for a client in Auburn, IN. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting all mechanical issues, establishing root causes, and performing required maintenance and repairs on all equipment within the plant. This role will plan, implement, and perform required corrective actions to ensure plant equipment is optimally functioning.Shift and Compensation1st Shift 6 AM-6:15 PM (3-2-2 schedule) Compensation is from 52,000 USD to 64,480 USD per year.Job DutiesCarry out repairs to all types of equipment and facilities in a safe, timely, and professional mannerTroubleshoot defective equipment in order to isolate causes and make repairsFollow instructions given by Maintenance supervisor on shiftComplete daily walk through inspections on equipment in assigned areaComplete run time and down time PM's on equipment in assigned areasTrack time through work order completionAssist with troubleshooting production process issues as neededKeep all work areas clean and tidy – including tools & tool boxUpdate supervision, staff, and operators, both verbally and via written reports, on the status of equipment maintenance issuesPromote a team environmentWork in a safety-first manner while adhering to all LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Environmental policiesRespond to internal & external customers in a timely mannerBackground ProfileHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in a maintenance or technical field preferred2 Years of experience in industrial maintenanceValid driver's license required for business travelDemonstrated knowledge of Robotic programming is preferred but not requiredKnowledge of PLC logic troubleshooting is preferred but not required
