Morgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing Detroit office. Summary The Personal Injury Attorney will handle a heavy and complex case load from pre‑litigation through trial. Compensation includes a base salary, guaranteed commission, and competitive ongoing commission fees/bonuses (uncapped), along with a full benefits package. Each attorney works with a dedicated paralegal and legal assistant. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day handling of pre‑litigation and litigation cases Drafting and filing of pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law Guiding plaintiff clients through the case process Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting expert reports and affidavits Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances Qualifications Law degree (J.D./JD/Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association (Michigan required) Minimum 3+ years of personal injury experience Ability to manage high volume of pre‑litigation and litigation cases Excellent client service and communication skills Self‑starter driven by long‑term career goals Superior writing and oral advocacy skills Benefits Morgan & Morgan offers an excellent benefits package for full‑time employees, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
