Role Description

The Paralegal position is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position is responsible for managing complex case files, trial and hearing preparation, drafting and organizing legal documents, and supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation. Daily tasks include conducting client interviews, performing legal and factual research, reviewing and summarizing documents, drafting pleadings, correspondence,, and maintaining accurate case calendars and deadlines. The Paralegal will coordinate with clients, courts, and third parties, ensuring timely communication and document filing. This role also involves conducting monthly billing, mentoring junior paralegals, implementing best practices for case management, and contributing to process improvements within the firm.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with experience supporting attorneys in litigation and/or transactional matters.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, contracts, and client correspondence.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, courts, and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Research abilities, including legal research using online databases and factual investigation.
• Detail-oriented Document Review skills for organizing, analyzing, and summarizing case-related materials.
• Several years of experience as a paralegal, with senior-level responsibilities or complex case management preferred.
• Paralegal certification
• Bachelor’s degree
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• High proficiency with legal case management software, document management tools, and standard office applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
