• Sign-On Bonus $5,000 (for eligible applicants)
• 10 Hour Shifts, 4 Days Per Week
• Monday thru Thursday
• 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Call Rotation Required (4-5 days per month & every 6th weekend)
• Holiday Rotation Required (1 per year)
• Position requires RVT registry within 1 year from hire date

Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The Department of Ultrasound at Barnes-Jewish West County is a highly specialized, full-service department which strives to meet all patient and clinician needs in diagnostic imaging and image-guided therapies. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging Responsibilities

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.

Minimum Requirements Education * Associate or Trade School Equi Experience * No Experience Supervisor Experience * No Experience Licenses & Certifications * RDMS or equiv Preferred Requirements Experience * <2 years Licenses & Certifications

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• RDCS or equiv
