Welder Responsibilities
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $24.00
- Fabrication: Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding on aluminum, stainless, and cast iron in all positions.
- Precision: Interpret blueprints, align workpieces using jigs/vises, and ensure quality via inspections.
- Equipment: Operate torches, power tools, forklifts, and Lulls; perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain PPE standards, monitor weld quality, and report machinery faults.
- Experience: 2+ years of welding experience (or equivalent education).
- Aluminum Proficiency: 6 months of aluminum experience or an 80%+ score on an onsite test.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in uncontrolled indoor/outdoor environments.
- Training: Proficiency in Safety/First Aid and blueprint reading.
