What You'll Do

As an Assembler, you'll play a key role in building high-quality electrical switchgear systems and panels by:

✅ Performing mechanical assembly of switchgear units and electrical panels

✅ Using hand tools and power tools to fabricate metal frames and enclosures

✅ Reading basic work instructions and following safety procedures

✅ Assisting with material handling and general production tasks

✅ Working with a team to meet production goals and deadlines

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday - Friday

⏰ 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Night Shift Available:

⏰ 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Overtime opportunities available, with most employees working 11-hour shifts, 5-6 days per week .

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-maintained manufacturing facility with open bay doors and ventilation fans to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. You'll be part of a collaborative team that includes assemblers, machine operators, fabricators, quality control specialists, material handlers, and supervisors.

What You'll Need

✔ Experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, construction, or a related hands-on role preferred

✔ Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

✔ Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed

✔ Strong work ethic and reliability

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
